Tool and Die Steel
Cr12MoV is a high-carbon, high-chromium ledeburite steel. It exhibits high hardenability and wear resistance, with minimal dimensional change during quenching. It is a widely used cold-working die steel. Compared to Cr12 steel, it has a more evenly distributed carbide content and higher toughness. It can be used to manufacture complex-shaped punching dies, cold shears, drawing dies, wire drawing dies, thread rolling plates, cold extrusion dies, and measuring tools.
