Dongfu Steel utilizes the world-advanced WF540 high-precision continuous rolling mill unit imported from Austria’s GFM Company. The produced tool and die square and flat steels achieve dimensional accuracy and surface quality that meet "near-net-shape usage conditions." The company offers a comprehensive range of tool and die steels with broad coverage, including cold-work die steel, hot-work die steel, plastic mold steel, and high-speed tool steel, among others. It has established a flat steel production line primarily focused on mold flat steel, supplemented by other types of steel.
The tool and die flat steels manufactured by Dongfu Steel range in thickness from 3 mm to 100 mm and in width up to 610 mm, covering nearly all common specifications required for industrial applications. Currently, the company’s mold flat steel output accounts for over 30% of domestic total production, and these products are widely used in hot-work molds, cold-work molds, plastic molds, measuring tools, and cutting tools.
Dongfu Steel’s D2 (Cr12Mo1V1, FT32) flat steel for cold-work dies, flat steels for steam turbine blades such as 1Cr13, 1Cr12, 2Cr13, 1Cr12Mo, 1Cr11MoV, 2Cr12NiMo1W1V, and 0Cr17Ni4Cu4Nb, as well as alloy tool and die steel FT413 (4Cr5MoSiV1), have been honored with the national "Golden Cup Award for Achieving Internationally Advanced Quality Levels."
