Material characteristics
Using vacuum degassing + electroslag remelting (quaternary slag system) to make the steel pure and uniform in structure
Excellent corrosion resistance, wear resistance, polishing performance, hardenability and comprehensive performance
After heat treatment, the hardness can reach HRC48-52. The quality level is similar to M340.
Main Applications
Plastic molds that require higher corrosion resistance and wear resistance; molds that require the production of mirror polished or transparent plastic products. Specific uses:
Plastic products with flame retardants: terminal blocks, electrical housings, electronics, electrical instruments, electrical switches, electrical box panels, automotive industry, etc.
Plastic products containing glass fiber: car door lock handles, headlight trims, mirror housings, plastic sports equipment, plastic gears, etc.
Transparent plastic products: car lamp housings, transparent panels, etc.
Heat treatment process
Quenching temperature: 1020℃~1050℃, oil cooling
Tempering temperature: 500℃-550℃, HRC48-52
