For a long time, the die-casting industry has been forced to rely on expensive custom mold bases or modify plastic large-gate mold bases for horizontal use due to a lack of dedicated standard mold bases, which has impacted profitability. In response to this, our company now offers a variety of die-casting-specific standard mold bases in various sizes, suitable for cold-chamber machines ranging from 160 tons to 500 tons, meeting the die-casting industry's requirements for shorter lead times and lower costs.
Pin-gate mold bases (also known as double/multi-parting surface mold bases) are available in standard length and width specifications ranging from 200mm x 250mm (2025 series) to 500mm x 700mm (5070 series). Pin-gate mold bases have four additional tie rods to control the mold plate opening and closing stroke, as well as a sprue plate. Pin-gate mold bases are divided into two categories: D and E. The D type has a sprue push plate, while the E type does not. Like the sprue mold base, they are further divided into four models: A, B, C, and D, depending on the plate configuration.
